Delvika, brings the world of fashion straight to the Virginia Tri-Cities area, where she works closely with her clients to carefully craft the right look and items for their lifestyle. After more than 10 years working and studying in the global fashion industry, Delvika decided to channel all of her experience toward a new venture: Teaching. Devika's business is designed to help individuals define their own distinctive image and style and re-create their look by streamlining, supplementing, and/or styling their wardrobe. Devika's approach is positive and sincere, sensitive, honest, and very attentive as she gauges the needs of each particular client.
While obtaining a Bachelor's Degree in Textiles, Apparel, Merchandising, and Management from Virginia State University, Delvika Mallory spent time working at Macy’s and running an alterations shop on campus. She also had the opportunity to work with her professor teaching children how to sew over the summer and assisted in teaching the clothing construction courses on campus. Upon graduating from college, Delvika joined Alfred Angelo Bridal in Short Pump, Virginia where she worked her way up from a Bridal Stylist to Third Key Management. While working at AA, Delvika continued coursework at Liberty University in Secondary Education in order to further hone her skills and be the best she could be. Ultimately, Delvika decided to focus on her own business after the birth of her first child full time, eventually started to substitute teach part-time for two years, became a high school FACS teacher, and currently a middle school FACS teacher.
Delvika currently teaches fashion courses to local budding designers and fashionistas. Delvika truly enjoys helping to empower her clients with the self-confidence that comes with a new look, an individual style, and an enhanced, organized and stylish wardrobe.
